Dam you
@53' Stude , Dam You. You couldn't just let me be happy in my ignorance is bliss world could you? Now I have more crap to worry about with it AND she just did the buyout of the lease today so now it's all hers.
OK- the spring at the bottom is stiff but not pushing far, if you look at how close the cut is. It also doesn't sit far away from the bottom. I think the Fram ones I cut push out a bunch more. I'm hoping that the stuff at bottom of filter can was from something else in the bag with the paper towels etc but I don't think so. Now I have to wait for that drain more and wrap it also. The pressure relief port is definitely smaller than the ones in the Fram Ultra's for whatever that means. Dam you

I had to edit as it doesn't like the thing that holds back water **** with the "n" and I didn't want it to look like another swear like an F bomb.

The can bottom has grit that was in with the oil that "drained" from the element. I'm hoping it came from something in the bag like dirt on a paper towel. I guess I'll know in 3k miles when the Fram Endurance gets cut open or I find a bunch of junk in the pleats.
