Another filter from member OpelMan. Looks good.
You are welcome sir.champ/fram build, thanks for the C&P
Yep. He sent me a metal canister filter from I’d say his 62’ Dodge. I can’t get the element out so I tossed it as I was destroying the can.Yeah, Champ built and good to see a silicone adbv.
Champ labs construction is all I can sayWhat's with the inlet holes on the base plate? It looks like there are inner and outer plates with different hole patterns. How many of those inlet holes are blocked off?
they’re not blocked, champ labs used to have a plate that was flush with the top of the threads for alignment. they’ve since done away with it.What's with the inlet holes on the base plate? Sometimes it’s not even worth doing if filter looks real clean. If from a known slugger/dirty engine or unit I can see doing it.One suggestion on these filter cuts is I'd like to see the filter media also cut out & stretched out... See how much media they gave us and what it caught. Thankful for the info in these posts. Just think that extra step would enhance it even more.

Not complaining as more information is useful but not much incentive and most c&p posts here get very few hits.
