IF YOU read my post, i was referring it to HI/PER use,,,,,,,

Their oil filters are made by Champion Labs, who also makes the Mobil 1 filters. Their construction quality is extremely good.

A quick check of the ever frustrating search function revealed no results for me.

And I know I've started threads with K&n in the title!

Honestly, the search function here is awful. Not to mention, if every subject that's been discussed before was met with "use the search!" this place would be quite dead.

I would suspect, give the filter's construction (which is top notch), high flow rate and synthetic media, it would do very well in every scenario. I used to use them for my daily driver, only because the welded bolt made oil changes so much easier. It may have been placebo effect, but my engine seemed quieter then with the stock Motorcraft.

The difference in any filter's performance, in most sensible situations, is more due to the match between your viscosity requirements and your oil pump volume/pressure limits. As long as your pump is not in relief ..there's no such thing as a "free flowing" or "restrictive" filter.
