K&N now offers oil

It probably contains elevated levels of silicon antifoaming agents. Then you can't tell that it is their air filter causing the high silicon on your UOA.
Also easy to hide when there isn't any elevated SiO2 in your oil using a K&N to start with.
 
k&n air filter oil is great stuff.
I would give their motor oil a chance.
Who wants to bet it will have a ton a silicone antifoaming addtives for reasons.
