K&N filters

Does anyone use these? I am looking for an alternative filter for my Triumph motorcycle that is not $15-20 like the Triumph one and Fram makes one that is $6.50 and K&N is $7.50 on Amazon.

Has anyone had any issues with K&N?

nope. used them on my bike. the "cut open" comparisons make them look decent

I like them, use them on my Bimmers street and track, never one issue. These are canister type, fyi.

I use the KN 171-C on my Harleys. I can get a good price on them through Advance Auto with coupon codes. They seem like a good filter, at least, everything that I have read about them. I never have cut one open.

I've used K&Ns on my motorcycle. Seem to work well, and look good after cutting open for inspection.

I have used 9 K&N oil filters in my 2008 4Runner (4.7L V-8) and 1 in my current vehicle, 2012 Mazdaspeed 3. I've never had an issue with any of them. The gasket doesn't leak and the filter media holds up well. What else can you ask?
