I got it for my new gig. It's for Karaoke, for people to read the lyrics when they're singing. I ordered a 22" widescreen Acer from BUY.COM.
It's not as good as the $300, 22" LCD screens I saw at best Buy, but for what I need it for it's nice. Much better than my 19" CRT that I've had for around 4 years now. I thought the CRT was pretty good and for what it is it is pretty good, but compared to the LCD it's night and day. The LCD is much easier on the eyes which I have been having problems with lately(almost 50). The LCD is so much brighter and of course it's a bit larger than the old glass tube screen.
I've wanted to get a new LCD screen for my computer for a long time, but I just didn't want to spend the money. Now when I'm not using it for work I can use it for my computer at home. I recommend this upgrade to anyone. The new screen was $214 including shipping.
