Are bigger diameter tires wise on a small engine? We don't want to strain its guts out, do we?
True but probably safer than a motor scooter.Any decently made CUV would crumple that thing in a crash...sorry to spoil the love fest................
Both of mine spend 80% of their time in the woods on firewood duty and I've never had a radiator problem, one of them I've owned since 2005 the other since 2018.Most of the ones I have seen have the radiator mounted low and at an angle; you would want to relocate the radiator before taking it into the woods

Meh, don't spend time looking at your phone and your probably safer than average! lol We travelled around Australia in a Hi-ace camper van with our toes about 14" behind the bumper. My plan was, A -pay attention and don't drive into an accident, then if plan a fails, B - tuck your feet in before impact!Where are the crumple zones in front of the driver? There isn't any area to be crumpled.
3 cylinder on its side? Man it’s so clean!
Yeah kinda surprised me first time I saw it. It is totally laying on its side. I guess it makes it easier to fit3 cylinder on its side? Man it’s so clean!
Mine gets me around my property just fine. It's not the best off road suspension and I would think that at least some of the 4x4 are going to be better in that regard. That being said I just creep around and I am not trying to win any races so for me it's fine. If you shop around some of these come with a low/creeper gear. Also I think you can get some aftermarket suspension upgrades. Might be something I look into for the future. The more you post about this the thing the closer I get to ditching the Kawi Mule for one...
How is it geared in high range just toodling around? Slow enough to handle bumpy terrain in first gear without beating you to death?
