Why don't these people learn that these shows cause so much stress that it almost always guarantees a divorce afterwards.

Would you like all that instant fame and money and press hounding you constantly? Could most of us handle it, especially a family with 8 kids? I doubt it.

But the money must be big because they still plan on having the show. How weird. I am done watching it.

Never watched it to begin with. IMHO, it should have been over when they agreed to let TV cameras follow around their family nonstop. Who knew the "Truman Show" concept would come true so quickly?

Is there anything that's more of a waste of airtime than "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"? Why, exactly are we supposed to care about these people? I can only assume they're achieved celebrity status the same way Paris Hilton did....they're famous for being famous for being stupid.

Same goes for Jon & Kate. IMO, she became a real snatch when the money started coming in. But he's no prize either.

They do get $75k and episode. That my salary for an entire year.

IMO the difference between them and the Octomom is that they are getting paid.

If I had it my way I would buy local news channels and Discovery. That's all I really watch that I feel is well worth them money I pay.

My mom always watches it so sometimes I sit through a little of it. Plus, O'Reilly has been covering it.

You're right. Kate treats John like a dog that can't do anything right. It's sad really! If my wife treated me like that, especially in front of our kids, well, we'd be having a little "chat" when the kids weren't around.

For starters, I don't watch the show and couldn't tell you even what channel the show is on. HOWEVER, on any show like that, the people are told how to talk and treat other people by the directors. It's that way on any stupid reality show. Maybe she is a be*itch in real life, I don't know.
But do you think anybody would watch this show if the whole family was courteous, kind and loving? These shows are made to boil your blood and they are very good at doing it.
Sometimes people need to just shut the boob tube off and get out of the house every now and then.

You're reading it all wrong. She's p'wn'd. John obviously enslaved her and she's totally helpless. Now she get to protest her plight with impunity. She never forgave him for making her fall in love with him.

What would you say if John responded with (something like), "Look, you don't have to beg ..it's embarrassing. I'll punish you the way you prefer. It's against my nature, but ..I'll do it."
