It ain't the trucks holding up interstate traffic

I've concluded that half the population is on Zanex or other prescribed anti depressants that make you feel and act like a brain dead zombie. A smaller percentage are narcissistic and know they are holding up traffic and get a kick out of it. An even smaller percentage is oblivious/never checks their mirrors and is generally unaware of what's going on around their vehicle.

It really is infuriating when 2 cars are hogging a highway going 5 mph under the speed limit and there's a rolling traffic jam with clear highway ahead.

I'm getting arthritis in my middle finger from it.

On the 2 lane mountain road some drivers decide to go 15-20 MPH below speed limit and refuse to obey the sign "Slower Traffic Uses Turnout to Allow Passing".

If you can't drive within 5-10 MPH of speed limit and there are 10-15 vehicles behind, you should use turn out. No reason to hold traffic back.

When I encounter this situation I just turn on radio or CD and not think about idiot driver up front.

I used to think autonomous cars would be the death of freedom and we'd lose the nostalgia and feel/pleasure of driving a car, but as I get older, I can't wait until they become a reality! It will make driving hopefully so much easier.

It is the only future I can imagine in which automobile travel (local) will still be feasible. You can't build enough lanes or adequately idiot-proof roads.

And this is how I know you truly do live in Colorado.

BC.

I drive in the right lane when I want drive at speed limit.

I drive in the right lane when I want to drive at much faster than speed limit.
