I went to two Walmarts tonight, with one being a Super Center that has a TLE.

Both Walmarts did not have any shelf space at all for QS Ultimate Durability, no tag at all.

At the larger Walmart, I did see six jugs of the Ultimate Durability 0W20 mixed in with other jugs (shelf was a mess). However, those were the only six jugs of Ultimate Durability I saw.

I wonder if Walmart is dropping Ultimate Durability due to slow sales, like they did with the original Edge.

Saw plenty on the shelf in the Bay Area.

Didn't see 0w20 though which is a pity as I would have picked that up instead of 5w20. But it has no OEM approvals?

Which Walmart in the Bay Area? I got my six jugs from the Walmart in Salinas. Both the Walmart in Marina and in Salinas no longer had the tags on the shelf.

No OEM approvals are needed for the 0w20 grade, but I believe the 5w30 grade is Dexos1 approved.

Mountain View but I wouldn't expect it to be different elsewhere.

Just because WalMart has a bunch of stores does not mean they all stock the same things. What is available in one may not be available in another. For no obvious reason. Home Office takes a variety of factors in to account when deciding what store will stock what.
For example, our store has never had:
G-Oil
Pz Ultra
Valvo Nextgen
QSUD in 0W20
What we do have:
Lots of Diesel oil; including Rotella and Supertech in 2.5G jugs.
Rotella T5 10W30 and T6 5W40
Rotella Tractor Fluid in 5G pails
Supertech R&O antiwear in 2.5G jugs.

I think it's maybe people buying up QSUD due to the rebate on them. I've been driving around looking for the G-Oil jugs but couldn't find any. Along the way, I've seen QSUD at every location though not much.

Mostly I see 5w20 followed by 5w30 and 10w30.

As of this week, not dropped here. AND, it's a buck cheaper per jug than Super Tech Synthetic. No brainer for low cost synthetic.

Never carried 0w20 QSUD though.

I think they just can't (or won't) stock it fast enough. I went to three WM's last week and could not find one bottle of the stuff. I asked one of the employees to look in the back for me and couldn't find it there either. They just can't keep it on the shelves.

It is very regional. For example, our Walmarts rarely carry the 10w30 Rotella. I don't look for it anymore, but used to...and could rarely find it. We also don't seem to have the 0W- oils that some other people report finding at Walmart. The only ones we have are the Mobil 1 AFE and Valvoline SynPower 0W-20.

I think it's because of our warm climate...we don't get the "thinner" grades.

There's is alot of it selling here shelves aren't full but there's always a jug but sometimes they're sold out. Id say it's one of the best sellers here. Cheapest full syn at Walmart.

The walmarts here in town differ quite a bit in what they carry. The one near my house has never had M1 0w20 AFE in 5 qt jugs but then I went to one on the other side of town and it had about 30 of those jugs. Go figure.

Had time to kill this evening, so I checked my local WM.

FWIW, I found one facing of QSUD 5w20, 5w30, 10w30, and a new facing of 0w20, all $20.57 and recently re-stocked, with shelf-tags.
