Is Valvoline Max Life Synth still only SL?

Trying to find 5qts of this product has been hard to do as most places don't carry the 5w30 variety.

Is it worth trying to track it down, even free after rebate, if it's only up to SL-spec??

The stuff around here is SM rated.

Maxlife is available in SM, but some places may have older stock SL. Use either without worry. 90% of my Maxlife stash is SL.

TallPaul purposly searched for SL over SM.

i was at my local NAPA autopart store today, and looked at a quart of valvoline maxlife, non-synthetic, 5W 30. it was an SL rated oil. i also looked at the synpower they had, it too was rated SL> all the other valvoline oils, were SM/ however they stil lhad about 9 quarts left, of mobile drive clean, sl rated, 20W50!!!
