g pieces?

... I found a scanner, at work. We believe we need a scanner, to scan BOLs and such, for increased productivity. The question I have is.. what all will be needed to get this printer functional, and then, how does it work. ? (scanner)

Here are the pics...

Pics are a bit fuzzy but I can tell the turbo encabulator's missing. I understand Rockwell Automation sells replacements, but you have to hurry... Cardinal Grammeters aren't being made since the Tsunami.

imageFORMULA DR-6030C - Canon Website Here, did it for ya. :-) Contains Manual, Drivers etc.

Looks like it's a dedicated scanner, no printing. No idea if it's missing anything, try installing the driver, hook it up and see if it'll scan!

Here's a link to Amazon listing with a nice picture for comparison to yours and a 3:34 video on what it does.

Thank you!

I will check out these links, and report back on what it wants to do.

I need to buy the cable, though..

A peek at the manual and it looks like it's a standard A to B USB printer cable. You can buy them anywhere printer cables are sold. If you have a printer hooked up with a USB cable you could use that for testing.

You are THE BEST.

And. I am getting recognized for saving the company some $$$! (Provided printer works.) The Electric Pallet Jack problem seems to have been handled.. we are keeping a VERY active eye out on the proper connection and charging of the equipment. You all saw the debauchery on that plug. Never again...

I should have scrolled down just a few inches more in the Quick Start Guide. Looks like you have a choice between USB or scsi connection.

DR-6030C Quick Start Guide shows a USB cable and it appears to be a standard A B cable as I mentioned above.

You'll be able to tell though, when you check it out a little closer.

Eljefino is right, if you don't replace the turbo encabulator, you will experience a lot of side fumbling.
