Scanning documents for a medical claim reimbursement

Wasn't sure what happened, and my father doesn't regularly check his email. So I checked yesterday and found one email with instructions on how to get paid - direct deposit, check request, or even Zelle. However, that was over a week ago and the link to set up an account had expired.

Kaiser's website sucks. Couldn't find any way to view claims status. Finally found a link to it, and when logged in to my dad's account it said there was no authorization to access the page. Can't even access the claims website (which is a different URL than kp.org). The link is on the Kaiser Permanente website, so it's not fake.

I ended up calling claims on his behalf. Went through the automated claims, where the last two were payments to doctors for local visits, then the online claims that were described as "void". Then got a rep and that was way more helpful than anything else. Found out that the claims were approved (not sure what "void" meant) and expiration of the payment link resulted in a check being cut for that. Said that both payments were made although it's been a while and my mom says that she never saw a check. I suppose the rep might have been the checks had been approved, but I know that it could mean while to "process" before being mailed out, on top of possible long mailing times depending on where it comes from.
