Is this acceptable for a Detroit 2-stroke 6-71?

Looking for a cheaper substitute for the Delo oil that is probably still a favorite for the old Detroit 2-stroke engines. I've got one left that I have to maintain.
This will be for a Detroit 6-71, circa 1971. Yea, I know when Detroit was still recommending an oil for this engine, they wanted a straight weight.
Looking on Amazon and I see this:

PER GALLON, it's hard to beat the price. Good enough for who it's for? Or, does anybody have a source for CF-2 40W Delo that's hard to beat?

At under $10/gallon, that's a good deal, and would be good for any Detroit 2-stroke. Usually the only CF-2 I can find is Rotella T1 for around $13/gallon, or Delvac 1300 15W40, which isn't really the right choice for a 2-stroke, SAE 40 is usually the way to go unless it has to start unaided in arctic conditions.

While it says CF2 it should, though wouldn't you rather use a brand name oil ?
There are many oil jobbers in Ks have you searched for any.

You have a point. But while Delo is still on the radar, I consider Mag 1 to be a name brand oil. They bottle a lot of oil under other brands. It meets the CF2 spec and I'm sure it's a lot better oil than anything available in 1971.
The local auto part stores can still get CF2 oil, but nowhere near what Amazon has at that price. As far as local oil suppliers, there is Mobil, but have you priced any of that lately from a jobber? Holy cow....
A local supplier is pushing Universal oil (based out of Wichita, I think), but their prices are about as high as a national name brand oil and I didn't even ask if they handle CF2 oil. They do have an excellent warranty on new engines though that exclusively use their oil.
As far as the video, that's doable, I just have to get the 250-lb repaired-radiator back in place first. (Ever see a fan go through a large radiator? It ain't pretty) Since I've looked at the weather forecast, I know it won't be this week anymore.
My plan (which can change by the day) is to buy a drum of Mag 1, run it for an oil change, and send it in for analysis.

MAG1 is a legit brand name. They're a "better" clone of walmart's store brand.

Kruse - Depending on use you are best to stay close to the DD spec for the CF-2 lubricant. As stated earlier you would typically use an SAE40 viscosity and it's important that the SA level doesn't exceed 1%. The minimum Flashpoint should be 225C and the TBN between 7 and 10

If you read the used oil analysis section for diesel engines, you will find good results from using MAG1 brand oil.
