is STP products any good?

i have a 1995 plumotuh neon, 72,000 miles. synthetic oil, and use shell 87 octane. i like ot keep my engine, and combustion chambers clean! use ombustion chamber cleaner once a year, before chaniging oil, ect. i out a bottle, of STP gas treatment, and octane boost in. its the only over the counter product i can find that you can use per tank filling. are te any good? normally i use chevro techron every 6 months.

If you have the combustion chambers very clean then you should have no need to increase the octane.
Opinions vary on the STP fuel treatments...I use the injector cleaner 1 tank prior to oil change and see good results.

For first gen neons use:
87 octane for SOHV and
91 Octance for DOHC
..if you upgrade to the Mopar PCM use 94 octane for SOHC or DOHC.
