Is Red Bull bad to drink?....

It's a bunch of garbage, some of the other drinks like Monster and Rockstar have Guarana which can agitate existing heart problems according to some studies. Redbull is probably the safest and mildest 'energy' drinks on the market. That's why I steer clear of them.

Nahhhh....the Jagermeister neutralizes all the harmful chemicals in Red Bull.

I heard yellow #5 causes impotency. But then again they said that red # whatever in M&Ms caused cancer too.

Me too, they kind of "wire me" if you know what I mean. Several students at a college party were recently made ill and sent to the hospital after drinking a similar product called 4 loco.

i think i would say it depends, do you drink alcohol, smoke, live, work or spend much time in a high traffic area, or industrial environment?

i doubt it is much worse than people who drink coffee all day everyday if you consume it in some form of moderation.

4loco has alcohol (11% to 12%). Normal energy drinks do not.

LOL. Wusses.

Four Loko is pretty disgusting, but what do you expect from a 13% alcohol fruit flavored malt beverage? No way is that going to be good.

Still, those kids should stay away from any kind of hard liquor if Four Loko put them in the hospital. It's a bad idea to drink it for several reasons, but it's really not that dangerous unless you are a complete [censored].

On a serious note, I chugged one once after a bender in China. It perked me right up.

Brawndo has what plants crave!

Hong Kong government found a couple years ago that the Red Bull sold there contain a small amount of cocaine. The drinks were recalled and replaced with a formula that is "virgin" like the one in the US market.

I don't have a problem with them as such (as I don't touch them), but kids at work are describing road trips in numbers of energy drinks required to complete them.

Stupidest thing I ever saw was in 40 degree heat, at a dusty farm field day, young teens walking around with 4 packs of Red Bull etc. slung over their shoulders as refreshments.

If you maintain a healthy diet, get plenty of exercise, keep yourself in shape and get enough sleep you'll never need an artificial stimulant.

That's my view as well. I don't need anything to stimulate me or give me energy. I got a wife that does that.

"Get up and help me.....etc..."

When I was a teen, I drunk 10 of them in one day and I felt like super man. Now that I am older, it's dangerous. 3 years ago, I had three of them and I almost had a heart attack and almost passed out. Never again will I drink them.

If I need some wake up juice, natural sources like Coffee and Tea are the only ways to go.
