We all know Honda's will last for ever on the cheapest conventional you can find. But Pennzoil Conventional at over 4 bucks/L is anything but cheap and is actually false economy when you can get an ultra fuel efficient 0W-20 synthetic for only 5 bucks/L. Your argument about the inconvience and change of supplier is a rationalization.
So come clean and tell us the real reason for such an illogical idea? But please don't say what I think the reason is; you're actually in love with Pennzoil!

I do like Pennzoil (had great luck with PP in the Vette and am hoping Ultra is even better) but it's really hard to say what makes me change my mind about oils. A BITOGer like myself is always thinking of trying out different oils
Considering the small price difference between Pennzoil Conventional and the Toyota 0w20, you definitely do make a good argument for sticking with the 0w20. But I still can't help myself, especially when I go back and look at all the old used oil analysis for my wife's Honda, and see how well it did using conventional 5w20 oils, and read back at how I swore I was going to stick with conventional oil for a while! (oops!)
And it is true what I said about the inconvenience, I have always preferred to use an oil (and oil filter) that I can grab during one of my Saturday morning Walmart or Canadian Tire visits. There is also a bit of excitement if I can get that oil on sale too, something that will definitely never happen with the Toyota 0w20. (although as mentioned, it doesn't seem to happen with the 5w20 at Walmart either, but I still try to keep that hope alive)
