Is oil good after 3 years of extreme temperature cycling?

I would worry more about the container leaking after getting brittle from baked in the sun too many times.
I don't think your honda V6's are too sensitive about oil, and maybe the little ford turbo is trying harder to find a reason to fail, but a half quart of almost anything similar to motor oil is fine to top up IMO for the last bit of a OCI, or in a pinch.

I read that heat in storage can affect the lifespan of new motor oil. I have 1qt bottles in the back of my cars some are now 2 and 3 years old, exposed to extreme hot and cold for all this time. Should I replace it, or is it still good enough to top off a car?
If your concerned I’d do a VOA of the oil

For $30x however many VOA just replace them for a few bucks ea. if it's a concern.

Speaking of analyes, Blackstone is raising prices of non-TBN reports from $35 up to $40 next month. It's pretty solid an oil change with a filter is on par with a UOA.

Yep, got the email. Really not worth doing unless you are nerdying out/interested or pushing $$$ oil way out on the OCI. Otherwise, just change it.

Wix kits are cheaper, faster and more accurate.
