On July 08, 2006, I took an oil sample of PP from my G35 with almost 6K for the interval. I got busy and misplaced the Blackstone sample container with the oil in it. I just found it this weekend.

Is it too late to send this in for analysis? I got to thinking that after almost six months in the plastic bottle, that the sample may be different chemically. But oil comes in plastic bottles, right? So the sample may still be good to go... any ideas out there?

Just an uneducated guess: Silicon, fuel dilution, water content might be off but wear metals, and the other stuff should be O.K. Again just a guess.

I think B-S and Terry said that it shouldn't create issues. I think one exception was if it was exposed to light (UV?? microbe ??)
