The best is when I see "human grade" on pet food. Like, were we giving them sub-par food before or can we buy bags of kibble for ourselves now?

There is something called "dog food diet" in the collections world. It's when debtors can't afford food and eat dog food. A human grade dog food will be more expensive than normal human food, though, and out of reach for the poor folk.

That's crazy, I've eaten nothing but white rice for weeks when I couldn't afford food but never heard of folks dog food for dire times.

If you wanted New York Strip stake with your rice to make it a balanced diet, this would have been a good addition.
