Is FP easy to pour?

I am going to buy some FP soon. I just want to know if it's thick and goopy like Lucas UCL or if it's thinner and pours more easily into containers? I was going to use a UCL bottle for gas treatment every tank.

Also, if I were to test the small bottle they sell, is that bottle refillable?

Very easy to pour. Not sure about the 32 oz. bottle; my guess is that it is not refillable. If you purchase two gallons of either the FP60 or the LC20, they provide a sqeeze bottle at no additional charge. I think the stuff works great and just received two more gallons of FP60 last week. Enjoy!

Not much thicker than whole milk! Smells good, too. Oh, BTW, I use an old gear-oil bottle to put FP in my tanks that have a flapper-valve over the fuel filler hole. The gear-oil point is long enough to push open that flapper.

Very thick, especially at cold temps. A squeeze bottle works best. It seems to get on everything. IMO, not easy to pour.

I use a funnel that I got at Walmart for 99 cents. I add FP to the gas tank before I get gas while I'm still at home.

FP60 smells like Liquid Paper

Thanks guys. I'm thinking about using it for each tank instead of OTC fuel injector cleaner - the Lucas bottle seems to be my favorite option. I calculated that for a 128oz bottle it would run about $1.50 per fillup to use FP60.

Should I wait for FP3000?

The biggest problem (which really isn't that big in the scheme of things) with LC and FP is they're a mess. The stuff just oozes out of every possible place in whatever bottle it's in. It's also viscous enough that it doesn't pour cleanly like water, so it dribbles down the side when pouring.

I use the little squeeze bottle from LCD for the FP, and a small (maybe 16 or 20 oz) cleaned out Sta-bil bottle for the LC. It's refillable and has the squeezy thing for measuring out 1/2 oz amounts.

I would not wait for FP3000, get some FP60 now. It may be a wait for FP3000 due to the volume required for initial production.

BTW FP60 is closer to MMO in viscosity. Nowhere near as think as Lucas UCL. It is messy as others have described. I keep a bottle and a funnel in the garage and add just before or after fill up.

I agree with Peterr and did just that about 1 month ago. I do not feel Fp3000 will be here for sometime. SO I bought more Fp and Lc now.

I use a long neck funnel and their measuring bottle. I add it at home, usually before refueling. When we take trips I don't bother to bring the bottle and funnel. It's too messy and smelly to leave in the trunk with the luggage.

I've got to say that FP helped my 2.0L Zetec run much better and get better mpg's. However it hasn't done squat for my 4.6L V-8 Ford truck. Maybe the UOA will be better but there is no noticable change while using it, unlike with the Zetec 2.0L

I have no issues pouring it into 9 different vehicles of ours.

Even with the free 32oz bottle.

I go to the craft store and buy an 8oz version of a #2 bottle identical to the free one from LCD. I just prefer to have a bit smaller bottle for carrying around in my car, to keep less inventory, in case of spill, leak, or if I leave the bottle on top of the fuel pump while pumping gas (dont ask how many times Ive done that!).

About as hard to pour as 5W30. Only thing is it's harder to wipe off if you spill it. Stuff seems like it NEVER completely cleans off of the outside of a bottle.

As a satisfied one gallon consumer with two more gallons on the way, I can say it's a complete mess to deal with. And very worth it. Even with the infamous leaky top that comes with shipping. As if measuring and pouring Lucas, MMO, Regane, Neutra, Techron, Seafoam, or any other additive is as easy as just "fill 'er up?" I use the squeeze bottle that comes with the two gallon order and a $.99 funnel from WalMart in a ziplock bag in the trunk or pretreat 5 gallon gas cans and pour at home. Oh, yeah, Nitrile gloves or cloth rags in case of spill. Lovin' every minute of it... Thanks again BITOG and sponsors.

I use an empty amsoil PI bottle & a long skinny screwdriver to hold the flap open works good & no mess pouring. Only mess I get is the red stopper in the gal jug which I'd leave out but don't want anything lost to evaporation.

It costs $4, but the 5.25oz bottle of Lucas UCL is a great way for per tank dosing. I marked out 2oz and 3oz measurements on the bottle for my use. No need for a funnel, but still a napkin/etc to wipe the outside clean after use.
