Is Dexron III spec H more friction modified ?

Would this new spec H Dexron be more suitable as 'Nissan Matic D' replacement? the Altima manual allows Dexron III, but I have heard stories of Nissan transmission failures due to Dexron III use.
Personally I find it hard to believe, since Nissan allows DexII but....

NissanMatic D is simply DexronIII(G).

I don't know where you "heard" this misinformation but it isn't true.

NissantmaticJ is DexronIII(H).

Slightly more friction modified but the real change is in the base oils that must be used to attain the H spec.
