EEM Perhaps one of the best plays of overall overseas stocks! I read its 150% in 3 years and will continue to outperform the US markets sorry to say.

This AM was good. Made some money on earlier dip in Gold prices a couple weeks ago.

EEM has been good to me, but watch out lately. I can't say with a ton of certainty that emerging markets will continue to outperform US markets, but I tend to cover both bases. As I stated emerging markets are taking a breather and net inflow isn't happening right now. EEM has a high percentage in Samsung and Taiwan Semi (almost 10% of total!). I like Samsung and this is a cheap way to trade it, but some of the other stocks may lag. Lukoil and Gazprom make up 5% of the fund as well.

100 pages? Better than a one legged dude in a butt kicking contest!

Little bump today? I say any week with a gain over 1% is excellent. Think about it, if you could string some of those together over a few years. I was up 2.86% this week and I'm getting some HUGE payouts next week starting 7/31.

I want to thank all of you, Z, LR, GM, OMG, even the new guys to this thread - honestly I would get complacent if I didn't have to report to the board.

I was down ~3% across the board for the week on Thursday. Got it all back on Friday.

Actually I'm doing really well. Was up over 16% YTD, until my big screw up. I'm still up 10.5% YTD. I've had some good luck in a couple of areas.

My target is +12% at year end. If I can do that, I'll be Satisfied.

12% is a high target. Let's hope Olde Mopar Guy gets there!!!

Money is funny stuff. The saying goes: "It takes money to make money" - true for sure, in a bent way (as an aside some use this as an excuse). But then you reach some point where you might say "I can't get all my money moving in the right direction at the same time!"

Anyone see natural gas futures today?

Natural gas @ 8.21 right now. Looking good P.

I think it came back down off it's highs at the close. Who is the big guy with all the NG reserves - or is crude oil just just overpriced?

On a different tact - those of you seeing the NASDAQ dive headlines and wondering what to do about that, check these two out:

RZG
PZJ

they are ETF's.

Talk on some of the forums is that at the current price of ng, oil should be somewhere around $55-$60. Various analysts are saying that the terror premium on oil is ~$20. Talk today on the runup on ng was because of high electricity use because of the hot weather. apparently there are a number of utilities that burn ng to generate electricity.

RZG is still trending down from the May bump up.

PZJ looks as though it is about ready to move up a little. The volumes on both are so low that it is hard to get a read on them. I don't know enough about ETF's to make any kind of judgment.

Hey that's good. I vacillate between 8% and 12.25% up for the year. Right now sitting at about 10%.

You seem to have a lot of up 1% days. I can't seem to do that very often - and my portfolio total I don't really know until the next day.
