Sort of yes. They were a tech company led by accountant CEO since Andy Groove died. I know you all said he retire as CEO a long time before he died but one of my professor was a VP there and said Andy never really retired until he died.

iPhone funded the whole TSMC advances because of power consumption need, and made their money back in the ecosystem. AMD and nVidia tagged along after Apple funded the majority of TSMC's uprising, and beat Intel staying as a vertically integrated CPU company not able to afford the latest fab selling just CPU. That's the fundamental reason they failed over time, and that's why they won't revive until they split up.

Hopefully Xi gets deposed, but he rules with an iron fist and is a man irrational control freak from what I’ve read. Punishing any messengers that give him bad news.

Would have to be a faction that takes over with military support.
