Many new traders get soaked after hours on market buys as they haven't yet figured out limit orders etc.

I like to go in and watch and when PLTR was in the low 80s the market buy late night was $14 more a share...

Residual trading game..... my trading buddy abused me as usual for my game. I told him I like to leave 5 to 10% of my shares behind when I sell for a rainy day...

That way if the stock blows up later you can profit from the upswing.
Just enough to stay in the game but not get hurt if it tanks.

Like Tesla yesterday if you sold early
It went up another $25 a share by the end of the day.
