People don't forget so easily. I think there is a good chance the Tesla brand is ruined, perhaps forever (and I'm a Tesla owner). He suddenly became extremely popular to the usual demographic that buys his vehicles...
fire up the printers, and buy your own bonds.
I agree and sick of all the media attention he gets. Who cares already?I too wondered if it was choreographed, to a degree. He suddenly became extremely popular to the usual demographic that buys his vehicles...
Can it? I know that it's been done, historically. I'm not sure that sort of private property confiscation will ever happen again. Sure, anything is possible since there seem to be an infinite number of loopholes in the Constitution - it's pretty much a useless document when Uncle Sam wants it to be.Gold can be confiscated, but if it really gets that bad it can be buried in the ground, or sewn into your clothes like refugees have for centuries. Barring that - it should keep up with inflation - like it has since 1973.
It's no longer fiat. There's quite a bit of infrastructure in place to mine/spend by producers/consumers. There are all sorts of tangibles and intangibles in place. That's why it continues to be the leader. If it were so simple to supplant it, it would've happened already.I agree that nothing stops this train, but we know from history that gold can be confiscated and bitcoin, well, that’s another fiat, not sure why people think it’s safe.
