Visiting a friends restoration shop and one of their waiting projects is a Willy's Jeep 4wd Station Wagon, year TBD. Sort of a barn 'find', but it wasn't lost; it was parked several generations ago and left.
It had these very interesting sealed beams that I have never seen before, they have a ~1.5" projector type lens in the center surrounded by a conventional, older lens pattern. The bulb itself is a large balloon old style unit. I didn't see any manufacturer markings just; "TOP", "Sealed Beam", "988" and an emblem of maybe a C or G in a circle.
Thought it was interesting, didn't find much info out there after a brief search.
