Instead of nostalgia, what do you look forward to in the future

The nostalgia thread is a good one, I really enjoy how we share what we were like back then in different times. Now what are you looking forward to the most 10, 20, 30 years into the future?

To me I am looking forward to more DIY works that we couldn't do in the past, with DIY kits of all sort of things that we have to hire "specialist" to do right now, like plumbing, electrical, legal, education, home building, insurance, travel, medical, etc. We are all going to do things either swap out what we have with a quick turn around or we will replace complicated stuff as a module, and we can do everything quickly and learn on the internet. I am also looking forward to not having to be locked down in one place and people really have the freedom to live where they want to, (i.e. not have to be stuck in one place because of jobs but because the like it there) and cost of living vs income eventually balanced out. (I know, it might be wishful thinking or be careful what you wish for).
Retirement or quitting my job.

Once you reach an absolute binary choice... Extremely bad, bad times are coming.
People becoming more accepting and celebrating differences and ideas. More open mindedness. Seeing other side.

This is not happening ^^^^^^^^^^^^

In fact.... The polar opposite is occurring.

Once everything devolves into a binary choice... It will be extremely terrible in this country.

It is happening all over the world, not just in the US.

I don’t know if their is anything to look forward too now. I won’t go to much into detail but some of you may know what I mean. I do enjoy getting older though lol I always feel the older you are the more privileges you get and have which I like. I hope in the future they realize how they have destroyed cars and bring them back to their original intentions and simplicity. I also look forward to one day hopefully building my own multi car garage and having family of my own too. I do like the modern technology though and the capability to practically do anything from anywhere on your phone. My family kinda still lives in the past we didn’t get smart phones till late and still do things mostly the old school and old fashioned ways which is nice too.

I look forward to a time when people take responsibility for their actions/inactions.....stop all the 'blaming'....

Moving out of Cali to Az or Nev with no smog laws.

I love it! We do like to rail against smog laws, don't we!

[sarcasm] I just can't understand why someone wants dirty air and filthy water [sarcasm]

Truth be told, I work at the airport and I hate the smell of non-clean diesel engines and jet engines. But yesterday I walked behind a running Global 7500 jet, with the new GE Passport engines, (they meet CEAP/6 emissions standards) and darn if that thing did not smell clean! Unlike our ancient "Coal Burners"

The new GE Passport engine. Yes, it really is white inside. Ceramics.
