A pal bought a 2012 Nissan Xterra from a neighbor.
It's the bright blue color and still shines as it was garage kept.
Odo: ~75k
VIN: 5N1AN0NW1CC512061

We'd like to do fluid changes on this vehicle but I can't locate any info.
The worst part of my search so far is that Nissan owners clubs focus on any other model but the Xterra.
Also, these clubs seem to be years idle.

Does anyone know the fluids this vehicle takes?
The Amsoil look-up lists their fairly universal fluids. I'd prefer knowing what Nissan calls for then making any decision re replacement fluid myself.
Transmission:
Transfer case:
Diffs: I assume any GL5.
Coolant: pale "Asian blue"?
Brake Fluid: I assume any DOT 4 brake fluid.

Thanks

Have you looked at the manufacturer's website? Almost every product including cars has free pdfs of the owner's manual.

Crawl under it and see if it's a 4WD. My data shows it as a 4X2 so please check.

Otherwise, it's all standard fare for the replacement fluids:
DOT-3 for the brakes
Nissan Matic-S for the transmission
Nissan blue (Zerex Asian Blue) for the coolant
GL-5 for the C-200 rear axle. The M226 and M226 ELD have differing capacities but use the same GL-5 fluid.
Front differential uses 80W-90 GL-5
Transfer case uses Nissan Matic-D fluid
Engine oil is 5W-30 (no fancy Nissan specifications)
Power steering is Nissan PSF or Dexron-VI fluid

Again, check to ensure you have a 4WD model. If not then disregard the front diff/transfer case data.

All of this information is in the owner's manual that is available from Nissan on the internet.

My data shows it's a base S trim 4WD Automatic finished in
Metallic Blue Line
