This AccentGT has independent rear, MaPherson strut front, suspension. The rear has a coil spring and a cartridge or shock absorber (not sure which) suspending the rear.
Is there an upgrade, something gas-charged that will stiffen the rear a little, and pick the rear up a couple of inches? I'm not talking "jacked up", but rather just to hold it up as high as when the back is empty. I carry a couple of hundred pounds of books, laptop, and a few tools under the hatchback. It doesn't sag, really, but it is a little lower than empty.
Is there an option in a better spring maybe? Maybe I need Elantra springs on my Accent? A tad less body roll during abrupt manuevers wouldn't hurt either, although it isn't too bad at reasonable speeds..
