Their replies and condescending tone is what stopped me from using Mobil 1. Prior I had used it as the only synthetic oil in my 88 E150 from when it was 6 months old until Dec 2008.
I deal with attitudes all day long, I won't pay out my hard earned cash and be treated like cr..............ap from a Monopoly. There are better products that cost less too. Rant off. My opinion, others differ.
I agree completely....
However, after sitting in a tire/lube shop for an hour the other day I start to understand why the employees have an attitude. Ignorant customer after ignorant customer giving them [censored] and questioning everything was even annoying me. The customers were starting off with an attitude while spouting off some ignorant stuff.
I'm in no way saying this was the OP, just saying the M1 employees probably didn't start out with the attitude.
I see your point, however being in business CS is very important, being courteous and respectful is a must. I eat a lot of [censored] being in a service business, that's the game.
In day to day life I start off treating each person I deal with, with respect, and give them credit for having intelligence, from there they prove themselves. At that point my treatment of them becomes a mirror image. Seemed Mobil came out of the gate with the [censored] attitude, I was very respectful BTW.
