In what forum do I find ''fuel stabilizers, Stabli

As in use for riding lawn mower, Troy-Bilt tiller fuel over winter.. I like to keep my tanks full in winter, crank each every 6-8 weeks. I have been using Stabil and non-ethanol gas, wondered if better products now

You are all set. Nothing wrong with sta-bil.

I'm using a local product by Canadian tire, it's probably made by a company that makes something similar to sta-bil.

I usually run my tanks dry at the end of the season and add some extra stabilizer in the last tank. I also use fogging oil. I've never had a problem starting up the snowblower or lawn mower at the start of the season.

Full tanks with stabilizer should be ok as well.

Marine StaBil blue is the one to use. I would turn off the fuel shutoff and run the carb dry.

Well, seeings as how we have started a conversation, do some use a product called ''Pri-G'' or something close?? I THINK I remember reading before this works better than Stabil, but it might be with gas containing ethahol,,, I also read a thread saying to pitch the Stabil bottle if it has been opened more than 2 years--- mine is at least 4-5 years old and has been stored in equipt. shed.. I usually add a little ''Seafoam'' as well as the Stabil, over winter. I was just curious if better proven products have hit the market---- some fuss about Stabil, never any problems for me though.

If your using pure gas you should try either Startron or Gumout Multi tune. Avoid Marvel Mystery,HEET,or Seafoam...it has alcohol in it,you dont want that.

I don't either. 15 year old Briggs and a 3 or 4 year old HF powered mower. The fuel is fresh E10 when it goes in. They're only stored away for a few months, which I don't consider long term storage. Always start on the first pull in the spring.
