It's no worse than many other forms of railroading children, some of which we accept and even praise here in the US.
Any word on whether those kids enjoy it? I'd imagine it's rare to find a kid who would, let alone enough to make a school, but China does have 2 billion people...

I didn't say it was any better... Just that it was wrong... Kids should be kids...

Agree....beauty pagents for 3-year olds, this......
No free choice for them. It doesn't suprise me to see this happening in China, but to see it in NA is not quite right.
That said, I DID just post about a grade 1 kid that has a business....but he seems to be having fun.

From what I heard (3rd or 4th hand info), many poor families send these kids early to "boarding school" for these training because they can't afford to keep the kids at home and the government pays for some benefits.
Either grow up to be a gymnast hopeful (or school PE teachers if fail to), or migrant factory workers, one way or the other.
