impact hog ring replacement

the hog ring on one of my impact wrenches no longer holds on to the sockets. I was wondering if and where a replacement ring could be purchased, along with a tool to do the replacement with. 3/8 drive if that matters. Any advice is welcome. thanks

you can probably do the job with regular snap ring pliers.

I would contact the tool manufacturer for a replacement ring.

The hog ring doesn't have holes in it for the snap-ring pliers to hook up. You will have to use pliers and screwdrivers etc to pry it off and put the new one in there.

The just clips kit works great for removing and installing hog rings. It comes with a few rings for 3/8" and 1/2" anvils.
