Milwaukee M12 1/2" Stubby Impact Wrench

I bought one briefly and hated it and returned it. Why? Its too small for my hands, and its terribly imbalanced with a battery. See if you can handle one at Home Depot in person so you dont waste your time.

Pin detent is great if you plan on leaving one socket on for an extended period of time. If you intend on changing sockets frequently, it’s kinda annoying. I have three small Allen keys in my socket set for the express purpose of depressing the pin to remove sockets. If I were to do it again, I’d go ball or hog ring.

Or if you always have an extension on it, like for reaching deep lug nuts. So, you can keep the extension always on the impact, but have a pin detent for the socket side.

So regardless of specs being the same, I get that the M18 all things equal would give more umph. Is the M18 ever an issue with size given the larger pack mount? I know they are both the same length but the "hidden" M12 battery design(assuming no XC) and rake of the handle give me the impression that it may fit certain places that the M18 won't?

Did you ever get a stubby? I see you got the right angle and returned it.
Short and sweet. Get M18 stubby instead of M12 stubby.
