The complete package doesn't come pre-assembled....it is what best fits into the company.
Instead of asserting rather arrogantly that the candidate is convinced PRIOR TO HAVING THE JOB of being the perfect employee, getting into the head of the interviewer better closes the deal.
"....So...before I go....
With regards to my expertise, my experience....my philosophy and outlook and work ethic, is there anything I may have neglected to mention that in your mind would complete the package of the perfect candidate for this position?"
Ending an interview by turning the table, by expressing concern for the INTERVIEWER'S needs, leaves him/her feeling (and remembering) that this is a company-focused candidate rather than a self-oriented self-promoting "perfect package."
In the end, it's not the character of one's competence but the content of one's character that gets most jobs.
