I'm so confused!

Hey all you oil gurus--I need some advice in choosing the best oil for my vehicle. I am currently using Valvoline Maxlife in my 1992 Toyota motorhome with the V-6 engine. As it is a Toyota pickup in a heavy duty application, I want to use the best oil possible for the maximum protection. Engine currently has 92K miles on it and I change the oil at 3K mile intervals. Recent reading has led me to believe that Maxlife doesn't have enough zinc. What do y'all recommend me using to keep my pampered baby happy and healthy for the long haul?

You only need higher zinc if it has higher spring pressure something OEM doesnt have to worry about.I have a couple flat tappet engines and I use defy but you could use anything and it will be fine.

Just stick with what you have...your engine will outlast the body of the truck. You are using a great oil I would stretch to at least 4k OCI's (3k is too soon if you baby it)
