And yes companies take money. They set their prices. This includes to make profits. If they make millions in profit to pay shareholders or bonuses to employees they charged more than they could have. So they took money.

Employees take what they are given. Many if not most jobs don't give the employees much say in the matter.
The less employees that are "taking" the more profit. Isn't that the corp American way

If Warren the Buffett feels he needs to pay more then he is free to write a check to the IRS.

But he hasn't, has he? Same goes for anyone feels they don't pay enough.

He doesn't feel he needs to pay more. He feels that all rich people should pay more including him.

There's a difference. He's donating his money to charity. Plus why should he pay more if no one else is?

And yes, there's a fund where you can donate money to reduce the national debt. It was only 775k last year although in years past it's been in the millions.

The reality is we're never going to reduce the 21 + trillion dollar debt unless we bring in more revenue and unfortunately that's probably going to include from the middle class and the poor as well who are struggling as is.

You know how you cut it in half?

50% inflation.

Too dramatic. Since the dollar dominates the world financial system, running this debt doesn't matter. It will only matter if the dominance is threatened. But those threatening it pay an extremely high price.
