Yeah and even in the large car category too. Isn't the latest Accord classified as a large car now? I thought it had good crash ratings.

So I guess Toyota and Mazda did not get invited to this testing.......and I saw only one Honda and one Nissan! Things that make you go hmmmmm......

Well...if you have one of the cars on the list make sure you crash into a Toyota or BMW. You know...if you are cruising in your KIA Soul and slam into a new Tundra...you'll be fine.

And what changed after October 09?

That would probably make it a 2010 model.

Maybe traction/stability control became standard?

Aren't the Si's the hatchback model that is made in England?

No. That's a different car.

The Si is just a Civic coupe or sedan with a different drivetrain, suspension, and a few other tweaks.

I'm thinking they just didn't test the Si...

I saw someone on TV saying that there was something wrong with Toyota's seats that kept them out of the rankings. This guy said that if the seats were better some of the Toyotas would be in the top ranks.

Yeah the latest Accord is classified as a large car. I bought the new Accord because of the safety features and ratings so I am left scratching my head as to why it didn't make the list

To make the list, cars must have a roof capable of supporting 4 times the vehicle's weight. All the Volkswagens made the list, so if you are going to have a rollover accident, or go off the road and land upside-down, get a VW.
