Walmart sells a canned fuel called Outdoor Factory Parts multi ratio premix which comes from the Husqvarna group. The oil mix in it is JASO FD certified (#001LTI001) which when you check the certification page it's Redmax 2 stroke oil. Click on the link and scroll to #309.

I don't use it since I get ethanol free gas, but some of you do use it. It is less than $5 a can and it's even cheaper than buying Trufuel in the 110oz jug.

Don't forget too that the real damage ethanol causes is when it sits inside the lines and carb long term. You can put a shut off valve on it and simply run the carb and line dry every time you use it. If you can keep that booze from sitting in the carb for days / months at a time it should mitigate all the issues quite well.

I dont have any issue from ethanol really. The only thing Ive ever encountered is a leaky fuel line, which is far cheaper to replace than buying this $$$ gas constantly...

Canned fuel makes sense to those that do not use much mix fuel. Otherwise it is way cheaper to mix it yourself in the amount you need to use and can use up so you don't have it sit for long periods.

I'm lucky and can get ethanol free fuel. Several stations around here carry it, even Shell.

I use canned fuel -- I go through maybe one can a season. The cost difference between it and a gallon of gas that I need to mix myself, plus the 2-cycle oil, really isn't much. Most of my OPE work is with the 4-stroke mowers.

I've never had any issues with ethanol fuel living in NC (and storing everything wet over the winter), but I did recently notice a Liberty gas station in Winchester that has some E0 pumps, so I'm trying it. I've got it in the Ridgeline and in my jerry can for the mowers and snow thrower. It's the same cost as mid-grade ($2.47/gal when I bought it).

The one time I've visited there so far, everybody at the station was using the E0 pumps.

Thats exactly why I mix mine a half gallon at a time and only use Boozeless. Of course if you don't use it very often that is exactly the setup for trouble and the tinier the orifice the easier it's happened to me. You can always dump it out and run it dry. Anyways these days real gas is available all over the place since 2016 and if we can get it in The Peoples Republic of Neuyorkistan I bet most folks can but you do have to look a bit.

I am not a big user - only about 4 gallons of 89 E10 per year for my weedwacker, edger, and two blowers. I use a good deal more 87 in the mower, assuming we get decent rain.

Even still, a little dose of stabil and only keeping 1-2 gallons on hand to draw down from has worked perfect for me. The use would be to be REALLY low to justify those cans, and at that point, these new battery-powered units are probably better choices...

I seem to run a lot of fuel for my chainsaw and strong trimmer over the summer. Way too much to run just on the canned fuel. End of season I drain out any remaining fuel and then toss in a few ounces of that canned fuel (used Aspen and Trufuel) and run it for a minute or two. Fires up months later and runs great.

I too think that canned fuel is great for the guy that runs his 2 strokes for only a couple hours all season. Otherwise its far too pricey.
