I was in the wrong and I don't care.

In my convertible, I sometimes get behind some old 1960s cars that predate any form of government mandated emissions controls. I can smell hydrocarbons and unburned fuel from these cars. But from newer ICE cars, I smell nothing.

What is a "clean air car" is as subject to wide interpretation differences. Is a 2025 ICE car with California emission controls a "dirty air" car while a Tesla that got its electric charge from a coal fired power plant a "clean air" car?

I have MS and really have a hard time walking sometimes. I don't have a handicap placard simply because I haven't asked for one. However when I am having a bad day and going to be quick I will sometimes park in the handicap spot. Even though I am visibly having problems I have still been yelled at a couple times

Then, get the placard and use it only on your bad days.

I would yell at you. Because that spot is for people like you. Well maybe if you were moving clearly in distress not, but truly how am I supposed to know. Would you rather I not care who parks there 🤷‍♂️

We live in sad times, discipline and order are non-existent. Certain people just do what they want to do, instead of what they're supposed to do. There's this sense of entitlement, and I see it daily. Then, when consequences are given, people become aggressive, because the problem with the truth is, nobody wants to hear it. Common courtesy is no longer common, and I can give you many examples; it's sad, very sad.

Yes. That is what they mean. It is ridiculous and doesn’t make any sense but it isn’t really uninterpretable. It is consistently inconsistent.

Was the top on the Jeep? A bikini top? Because the open atmosphere of the Jeep, by my definition, is much cleaner than an enclosed space. After all of the indoor air-quality reports I have seen, an open cab Jeep would be a Clean Air Champion!

Those spots aren't enforceable, the only ones that are are the blue wheelchair spots.

We have an EV charger outside of parts here but the spot isn't labeled that it is for charging only. Just so happens to be a spot with a charger that has a long enough cord to reach the spots on either side. Back when I was parts manager (against my will) I had my Mustang parked in that spot because that was the one perk I liked. A lady in a C-Max who would camp out charging for hours blocked me in and stormed in and said that she was calling the police and having that "horrible car" towed because it was in an EV spot. I politely told her that if she did that I would have her trespassed off the property.

Bottom line is that the woman in the Tesla just wanted to pick a fight.
You parked in what is arguably a suitable space for any vehicle with legal CA emissions.
Not even worth engaging people like her.

These are the designated parking spots for the only 'clean air'conveyances that ever existed.
