I need iTunes HELP! Cant edit playlist ORDER

Please help me... I am in the latest version of iTunes, editing a work-related playlist for someone (a singer.) I NEED to put the Playlist in a track-specific order. Now.. Once it did so, no prob. Then something happened and 1. The order went away 2. I cant change the order anymore.

Newest version, time critical. How do I edit the order, then save that order/playlist?

Windows 7, latest iTunes. Thank you! *iPhone not available to sync until morning.

And I just plugged in iPhone and synced it and I STILL cant. !!!

Oh blah, I just made a new one.

If you have shuffle on, turn that off then drag and drop the song in that playlist to the order you want.
