My employer paid me my normal wage minus the juror pay.
The court doesn't stamp your parking ticket / pass so you don't have to pay for parking ?
Must be nice if they do that where you're from. I've been to court houses all around the city. They never pay for parking. It's worse when it's right in the city, even the employees have nowhere to park.
I've been having bad luck with juries lately, been getting picked the last few times. The last time it was the same deal, I almost got picked to be seated on a 2 week trial, but they seated a jury before my panel number was called. Back to the jury pool and I got picked for a 3 day trial. Ended up being a 4 day trial, got the case after 2 days, deliberated for two days. I held out for guilty, the others thought it was not enough evidence, people expect CSI evidence these days, I finally caved on the 4th day, it was originally 50/50 on a straw vote.
