I'll bet a week's pay that Santana loses that suit (or settles), and rightfully so. The way I read that article, Santana found a guy to come in and sort out the people that fell in line with his personal beliefs, or were willing to change and kiss the guy's backside. The guy suing obviously didn't make the favorites list, so he was fired. Pretty crappy if you ask me. Of course we're only hearing one side at this point, so it might just be sour grapes.
It has always bothered me when people don't have the balls to fire someone and use BS advice from some guru to do it. As an employee at will you have the right to quit and you can be fired at will. Thats life!!!
I'm sure part of their awareness package is having an open mind.............

A certain class of workers are not your typical "worker at will" type employee.
At the upper echeclons of the corporate world where the elites ensure the "rules" the vast majority of us have to live within do not apply and.... at the higher levels of those sucking from the public trough, a different rule-set functions.
For example, an itty bitty school district with limited funding.... the district supervisor blew it so they ousted him. But, a contract was in place. In place because of collusion amongst that group possessing the credentials to be supervisors. You or I get fired... see yah'. That self-important elite sucking up tax dollars??? 1/4-MILLION dollars in pay... for being fired. Of course, the politicians and bureaucrats work together to feather each other's nests.
In the corporate world examples abound of those fired receiving MILLIONS of bucks. The elite class is in a position to take care of each other AND you and I, the consumer, ultimately pays for the privileged classes' lofty wages, too often undeserved.
But, do not complain ye underlings. Just send your sond and daughters overseas to bleed. That is your duty. Love it or leave it.

yoko (john' wife, many credit with being one the major reasons the Beatles split if not the only reason) began her illustrious career as an interference in the Beatles' corporate dealings, much like Carlos' wife in the story.
Yukko refers to her so-called music. As a person, she's fine. As a musician, well, let's just leave it at "she is a fine person"....
