So what you say I should just go with itRemember, the thermostat rating is the temperature at which the thermostat BEGINS to open. It's not the regulated temperature, which has more to do with the cooling system as a whole.
It's typical for actual temperature to be about 20 degrees higher than thermostat rating.

Sounds normal to me.2013 Silverado 4.8 I just replaced this thermostat and I am running anywhere from between 201-203 degrees Fahrenheit on highway the outside temp is 77 Fahrenheit does this sound normal and I'm monitoring it through a scanner
