I'm leaning toward reusing the old rotors. Most stops are perfect. The rotors have virtually zero wear. If I need to replace them after changing the pads, I can do it if I have a problem.

Re-use them without cutting them?
Fine by me!
But give the surfaces a nice even sanding.
Power sanders can work well, if you keep moving evenly.
About 150 grit is good.

But like mentioned, really clean the mounting hub and rotor face surfaces. A wire brush is a start, but check for hard deposits - get them flat.

For $25 each, throw on new rotors. Simple to change. Then you have no worries about thickness or surface conditions.

I did this job 2 years ago on my Sienna van due to low pads and brakes pulsing. The shop I deal with said that they have had no complaints or returns with the cheap rotors. The cheap ones worked fine for me.
