Ken4, there is a Forum for Singapore AMSOIL users and fans. I surfed into it by accident once, but could not find the place subsequently. The praise those people lavished on AMSOIL motor oil was out of this world. If what they said was anything to go by, all other brands of oil are now obsolete. Ha, ha.quote:

Yeah, you are right, Ken4. Those people in Singapore, they are indeed kind of dense. Most of their posts do not make much sense to me. But then, with their kind of climate (no cold starts, every day 95 degrees F), even those stupid guys can have a long-lived engines.quote:

The problem here is that most are not well-informed on oil and never even heard of oil analysis.........I especially find it amusing when someone describes the oil he uses as "powerful" or "smooth" or "fantastic".
A place with 286 MM people can afford to have dummies. The Bill Gates types take up the slack. A place with 3.5 MM people cannot afford to have dummies. 5 dummies is already too much ballast for a Micro-Dot s*it-town like Singapore, takes away their competitive "edge."quote:

We have plenty of dummies here too. I once new a guy that said whenever he went on vacation to Nevada in the summer he would drive his 20 year old Ford F150 at very high speed (about 85+ mph) to keep the motor from getting too hot! I knew this guy about three years ago when I lived in California.
