Well the fire risk hits keep on coming for Hyundai/Kia. Seems this go around the ABS control unit can leak brake fluid, cause an electrical short and a fire. Since recall first dropped they have since advised owners keep their cars parked outside.......even went beyond that in saying if the ABS malfunction light is illuminated to unplug the positive cable of the 12V battery whenever you park.

CNET article seems incorrect in calling out the Sedona - seems they should have been putting Sorento in place of Sedona.

Hyundai Kia Recall - CNET

Update - do not park indoors and disconnect your battery.

Not a huge widespread issue (as of now).
23 known cases in vehicles that are 5-7 years old.

And shoddy reporting, no links to the actual recalls, and needs to be clearer on what vehicle, the Santa Fe and Sante Fe Sport are 2 different vehicles (recall is on the Sport), and calling the Sorento the Sedona is just sloppy reporting.

Here are the actual recall notices:

2013-2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.

2013-2015 KIA Optima and 2014-2015 KIA Sorento
