HYUNDAI/Emergency Sonata refresh

One of the Korean video sites was discussing the possibility that they'll cut this gen short and bring out a '23 model based on the Ioniq 5/6 platform. Can't remember for sure but think they were hypothesizing that this would be all hybrid.

It's not as bad as Honda's emergency refresh of the 2012 Honda civic...during the MY2012, Honda had to refresh it to not look cheap for the 2013 model year.

That was an emergency refresh, similar to the new 2013 Malibu getting an emergency refresh for 2014.

The issue with the Sonata is it’s rumored to be COMPELTE redesign for 2023. If true, that is a very short life cycle. Until we know more, it’s just a rumor.

The 2012's looked unique and stood out with those curvy headlights.....

Now it is just another family car with a cheapo "KIA" badge. (yeah I know they are better built)
