Wow...a dead NEW motor out of the box? You are getting dumped on. I feel your pain. New Bosch alternator, untested. I ask the guy to test it on his fancy tester. "We don't have a pigtail set up for it." WTH? So you're a Bosch dealer and you're not able to test this alt. you just sold me? "Nope" Do you know how long it takes to install & remove an alt. in a 98 Volvo? Several hours. You're going to get an earful from me if this alt. is bad.
Guess what?....It was Tango Uniform RIGHT out of the box. Internally shorted. I was hotter than it was. I took it back and got in his face. He took a replacement to a competitor and paid to have it tested before delivering it to me.
